We are almost through the first month of the year in 2010, and I am starting to look at the sales activity of a few different parts of town to see how our year has started.  Needless to say, most areas are not starting off with huge sales numbers, given that January is traditionally a slow month, and housing is still feeling the effects of a down market.

Specifically, in Indian Hills, it appears that no homes have closed so far this year, even though there are 23 currently on the market for sale.  Only 7 of the 23 for sale actually came on the market in 2010, with the other 16 carrying over from 2009.  Indian Hills is one of the nicest and most expensive communities in all of Louisville, and perhaps in all of Kentucky for that matter, so it should be no surprise to see the average list price of the homes for sale in Indian Hills at $935,460, and the median sales price at $487,000.
